The Lake Point Restoration property is located 1 mile east of Lake Okeechobee's Port Mayaca Locks, on the south shore of the St. Lucie (C-44) Canal, in western Martin County, Florida. It is primarily accessible via State Road 76 or US 441, and lies 9 miles west of the Beeline Highway and 15 miles west of I-95. Its eastern boundary is adjacent to the South Florida Water Management District-owned 21,875 acre DuPuis State Reserve Area ("DuPuis") and its western edge is contiguous with the FEC Railway "K" line). Its northern boundary is traversed by SR 76 (Kanner Highway) but continues to the southern shore of the C-44 canal. Its southern boundary is the Martin County/Palm Beach County Line. The property's location is strategic for westward infrastructure growth. As projects continue to move closer to the quarry, the carbon footprint for delivery of materials is greatly reduced.
